Jesse came into Van Go Auto Glass with a large crack in the windshield of his Honda CR-V. He didn’t want to go through insurance because he had a high deductible and was worried his insurance premiums would go up if he made a windshield claim. He reached out to us for an out-of-pocket quote.

We asked Jesse to provide his insurance policy details and discovered his collision deductible was high, but his comprehensive was $0. His insurance company initially pushed for aftermarket glass, but we got on the phone with his insurance company to explain why he needed OEM glass for proper calibration. They agreed to cover OEM glass, and we got it sourced and installed the same day.

Jesse saved thousands of dollars by making a claim through his insurance, and his premiums weren’t affected. He was ecstatic that he could put that money towards something else and shared that he’d be recommending Van Go to anyone who needed auto glass work.
Van Go Auto Glass offers fair prices, full transparency, and precise installation that keeps you safe on the road.
It depends on your vehicle, but it typically takes 45 minutes if your vehicle doesn’t need calibration and 1-1.5 hours if it does.
We can usually source the glass the same day. If you call in the morning, we’ll typically have it by noon.
Yes, we work with all makes, models, and years. Some more unique jobs might require special glass procurement, custom-cut windows, or unique tools or conditions in the shop. These will take extra time, but we’ll work with you to make sure it gets done right.
We don’t work with large RVs, but we’ll work with smaller motorhomes that function like a van.
It depends on your policy. We’ll help you understand your coverage and deductible, then work directly with your insurance company to secure coverage for the glass you need.
Yes, depending on the job. We can do straightforward replacements on-the-go. If the weather isn’t ideal or your vehicle requires more exact calibration or install conditions, we’ll suggest you come into the shop for the replacement.
We recommend following the dime test or bringing it into the shop for us to take a look at. We’ll always be honest about whether repair is possible (and likely to be successful) or if you need a new windshield. If we try a repair and it doesn’t work, we’ll put the cost of repair towards your new windshield.
Deep chips and cracks can spread easily, with something as simple as a temperature change or bump in the road. Even more importantly, if you have a crack that compromises the structural integrity of your windshield, you could be at higher risk of serious injury in a rollover crash.
With our replacements, yes. Some other companies use 8- or 12-hour dry time glue, but if your glue isn’t completely dry, it’s not safe to drive. At Van Go, we use top-quality glue that dries in about 30 minutes, ensuring your vehicle is safe the moment you drive away from the shop.
We’ve even seen horror stories of guys in pickup trucks that use silicone or bath-and-tile caulk as “glue.” This is why we always recommend installation by a qualified auto glass company.
