We recommend following the dime test or bringing it into the shop for us to take a look at. We’ll always be honest about whether repair is possible (and likely to be successful) or if you need a new windshield. If we try a repair and it doesn’t work, we’ll put the cost of repair towards your new windshield.
Deep chips and cracks can spread easily, with something as simple as a temperature change or bump in the road. Even more importantly, if you have a crack that compromises the structural integrity of your windshield, you could be at higher risk of serious injury in a rollover crash.
With our replacements, yes. Some other companies use 8- or 12-hour dry time glue, but if your glue isn’t completely dry, it’s not safe to drive. At Van Go, we use top-quality glue that dries in about 30 minutes, ensuring your vehicle is safe the moment you drive away from the shop.
