In the Christmas Eve windstorm, I had something fly up and hit my windshield, look and look like I had taken a chip out of it. My boyfriend, in the car with me, confirmed, and so I called Van Go after the holidays on the recommendation of Cooper’s Automotive in Lafayette. Not only were they able to get me next-day service once I called, but they’re mobile, so they came to my home. Unfortunately, both my boyfriend and I were apparently hallucinating, because this chip of ours seems to have disappeared; Van Go didn’t even give me a well-deserved hard time about it, nor did they charge me for coming out. Their name will be first off my lips when I or friends needs glass repairs again.

I initially got an appointment with one of the bigger corps 2 weeks from incident. I didn’t really want to wait that long for a new windshield. I called the closest local company and did I luck out. Tim, the owner answered the phone, got me scheduled the next day and came to my house and replaced my glass while I took a nap. He uses premium quality glass and supplies. I don’t write a ton of reviews, but Van Go is definitely worth my 5 star rating.

Tim, the owner, and his assistant Rene, were awesome! 10 stars!! And this is why: I needed two pieces of glass, a windshield for my Avalon and a windshield for my husband’s Mini. I called Van Go Auto Glass because I have seen their van around town and wanted to support a Broomfield local business. Tim was quick to respond to my voicemail message and got me a quote within a few minutes on both pieces of glass. He was able to get me booked for an onsite replacement for the same week. The Mini glass was considerably more expensive and Tim gave me honest advice about what should be done with that. Although, he only ended up repairing one windshield, his honesty and ability to keep his customer’s best interest in mind spoke volumes about his integrity. The day of the install Tim and Rene were ON TIME (at the top of their service window) and got straight to work. Tim was friendly and never seemed bothered by my questions (or the questions of my 3 year old son). He also spoke with my neighbor who needed a quote for her own windshield. While he talked to us, Rene was diligent about getting the job done. Rene used what Tim described as a “factory seal” method of gluing my windshield in place. The bead of glue had no bubbles, was consistent all the way around, and was applied with care not to get it anywhere but where it belonged. The previous windshield repair I had was not done properly and damaged some of my paint, Tim pointed out that the damage had been done (of course nothing can be done short of a new paint job), but he replaced the glass with the proper trim and in the way it would have been done in the factory. When the glass was in place, which only took about 30 minutes despite my distractions, Tim and Rene did a quick detail job on my dash, making sure dust and debris were cleaned up from the job. It sounds like a little thing, but the last time my windshield was replaced the guy left bits of old, dried glue all over my car—not acceptable! I was so appreciative to Van Go Auto Glass for doing the whole job!! If you are looking for a new windshield and appreciate a job well done, please contact Tim at Van Go Auto Glass. The best thing about Van Go Auto Glass is the honesty. I called inquiring about replacement of my power window regulator and motor. They quoted me a fair price and even told me that I would save more money by purchasing my own parts online.
Tim did a great job installing the new part, overcoming all obstacles that would have caused me to throw in the towel if I was doing the work myself. It is quite refreshing to meet such honest people at Van Go Auto Glass.

Tim was super easy to communicate with via email (my preferred method haha… introvert here who hates calling people!). They arrived on time and got my cracked windshield replaced in less than an hour. No additional fees for mobile service. Price was less than I expected too.
